01 / Drug & alcohol testing

Testing for every next step.

Hiring a driver? Managing a random selection? We coordinate DOT testing for the situations your business faces.

Drug testing includes laboratory processing and qualified MRO review. Alcohol testing follows its own DOT procedures. The testing reason and applicable rules determine whether drug testing, alcohol testing, or both are required.

02 / Random pool management

Your random program. Managed for you.

QuickLabs coordinates pool administration, random selections, testing, and program documentation.

Consortium Pool

Join a shared random pool with eligible drivers from multiple companies. A practical fit for owner-operators and smaller fleets.

  • Collection sites nationwide

We help identify participating locations for your test and program. Availability varies by service and location.

  • Certified laboratory testing

  • Medical review

A qualified licensed physician reviews and verifies drug test results, considering legitimate medical explanations when applicable.

04 / DER training

Prepare the person behind your program.

Your Designated Employer Representative receives testing information and takes required employer actions. Train your designated owner or employee to manage that responsibility.

  • Coordinate tests and notifications.
  • Handle random selections and DOT procedures.
  • Understand results and required actions.
  • Maintain program records.

Practical training for your company representative. Your DER remains part of your company.

Good questions. Clear answers.

Before you get started.

Can I request just one test?
Yes. Contact QuickLabs with the test reason and your driver’s location. We’ll discuss available collection options, pricing, and the next step.
Which random pool does my company need?
A sole owner-operator subject to FMCSA testing rules needs a pool with other covered drivers. A consortium provides that shared pool. Eligible multi-driver companies can use a dedicated company pool.
Is DER training a required certification?
DOT does not require a specific DER certification. Our training helps your representative understand their responsibilities. It does not replace required reasonable suspicion supervisor training or the employer’s duties.
Does QuickLabs operate the laboratories?
QuickLabs is your testing administrator and point of contact. Collection, laboratory testing, and medical review are performed by qualified providers. We coordinate those services for your company.
